Title: VR6 BBS Alloys - Wrong tyre profile

Picked up some standard vr6 BBs alloys last night (bargain ebay purchase). I got them home and realised that they all had 55 profile tyres on em. I thought the mk3 15 inch wheels had 50 profile tyres as standard. Did any of the vr6 models run a larger profile tyre?

Not too bothered as ive got a nice set of T1-Rs to go on them. Just curious really, i might try them and see if theres any noticable difference in mpg on a longer run.

Wrong size tyres.

195/50/15 or 205/50/15's is the correct size.

55 profile will mess up the gearing and speedo.
