Title: Oil breather - HELP !

Hi,

My Oil breather has come away from the rocker cover... Does it just push back in? I can't see how it secures itself...

My car is a 1989 8v GTi.

Hello there,
The breather pipe is held in place by a rubber bung and is a simple push in fit.
When the bung is on the rocker cover, the breather pipe just pushes into this-If no bung is evident order one through VW (about 80p)
be carefull not to split the new one and check if there are traces of old bits ready to enter your engine. :)
