Hi
I thought I had fixed this once I had put on a new coil plus cleaned out the throttle housing with carb cleaner. I have changed the plugs, dizzy and rotor arm. Awaiting relay 167 in the post. Also changed temp sender
Now I know the car gets up to temp, but blows out mildly warm air out the heaters. I'm guessing thermostat not working, but would this make it run/sound like on 3 cylinders once driven for a couple of miles?
It may be me but I'm sure its worse when damp and raining
I checked coil again for sparks by spraying it but seems ok
Why oh why did I get another mk3 when I prefer mk2's?

Well the plugs were shagged. Replaced them. This morning was damp and it juddered a little driving while cold. More so once warm and accelerating. Still waiting on fuel relay. Anything else I should check?
Thanks

yeah - change the thermostat. Engine coolant temp is a key input to the ECU (coolant temp sensor) for fuel management.

just unbolt it - you don't need to disconnect it.
