Hi guys,
Does anyone else's rear wiper sweep automatically when put into reverse regardless of the wiper stalk position?
They obviously sweep when it's in rain sensor, normal and fast, but when the stalk is in it's normal position and I engage reverse, it comes on?
Ideas?

Yes this does happen though I'm not sure if its the rain sensor or if you use the front wipers. If I get in and its been raining I give the front screen a quick wipe then I put it in reverse and the rear wiper wipes.
If it bugs you, you can disable it with VCDS.

If you want the extra cables and a case here is cheaper
http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCHUB.html (http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCHUB.html)
This is where I got mine from although it was at 17.5% VAT so was cheaper than this.

The Gendan one is 11p cheaper because the price includes VAT and free delivery. I had mine from Ilexa because I had plenty of correspondence with Derek Edwards, Ilexa delivery £5.50 plus they have their own crap forum which you can only join after you buy products of them.

I could make a total thread on that forum as The Doc knows about, case closed in here. :lipsrsealed:
I'm surprised we don't have a permanent (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a121/KStanier/offtopic.gif) smilie in here as loads of threads go off topic in here Doc, fancy adding it?
