Title: Weight of a VR6 ?

Does anyone have the definitive weight to hand ? (even 3dr and 5dr ?)

A quick google results in figures from 1155kg to 1300kg...

It also said an early mk3 8v GTI is 1032kg, which suprised me, thought would be more..

mk3 8v
3dr - 1185kg
5dr - 1215kg

mk3 16v
3dr - 1240kg
5dr - 1270kg

mk3 vr6
3dr - 1285kg
5dr - 1315kg

Aha, good stuff, cheers.

So these are totally unladen, not the EU1 figures ? (which include 68kg driver, 7kg luggage, 90% full fuel tank)

Do VW typically quote unladen ?
