Title: Braided Hose and Pump to Accumulator Hose
Post by: bmouthboyo on 24 February 2011, 18:21
Evening All,

I am after a braided hose and hose that goes from the pump to accumulator from a K jet engine. (mine is DX).

I have posted a wanted advert here:

I was wondering if anyone knew the part No for these? And if there are any alternatives.

Thanks

crazy quiff does all the injection hose off the shelf. the main lines are pricey but they are very high quality. the 2 short pipes are cheap enough though, if that line is buggered check all the main lines too i doubt they'll be far behind

I think my main lines are made of what looks like brake line metal pipe. It is probably slightly wider , cannot be sure, just looks same lol

What material should fuel lines be made of? Obviously due to custom job on my camper standard parts are too short so just asking for future really. Cant the be made / repaired using brake line kits / fixings?

Thanks

yeah they are basically thicker brake pipes with threaded fittings, check em for rust. if all ok then no worries :)

the crazyquiff lines are flexi overbraid same as the one in your hand from front to back, which makes it a hell of a lot easier to fit them than the solid metal ones. he may be able to do you a custom job, he already does mk1 16v lines which are a fair bit shorter than the normal 8v ones
