Hi im really lost for words here
if i lift up my carpet in the boot the boot is wet like it was sprayed with water what could be the issues? and how to fix them? :nerd:
-
I'm having the same issues.
You need to find where it's coming in from first, that's half the battle. What I'd do is dry the boot very very well, remove the carpet, and interior trim at the rear, lock yourself in the boot, have a mate slowly pour water over the back with a hose or a bucket and try and find it that way.
Possible suspects at the boot are the tail light gaskets, boot lock, aerial mount (if aerial fitted to roof not wing).

bizarre thing is it where the spare wheel is
-
It is a spare wheel well
It's because that's the lowest point in the boot floor and water always finds the lowest point. I would guess your leak is to do with the lock, seeing as it's in the middle. Can you trace any rust trails or mould or streams of water to see where they're coming from?

Khare has pointed out all the usual suspects, when I had a leak in my boot it was due to the tail light gasket. It's amazing how quickly it can build up!

where can i get a tail light gasket from can some one send me some links please :)

I'd check that is your culprit first! Whip your tail lights off and see if the gasket is saturated or obviously torn, there's no point in replacing it if your not 100% sure that's what it is

About £3 from Builders yard it's called clear sillicone

Start be replacing the taillight gaskets, then check you sunroof drain tubes are all ok where they exit the boot.
