Title: rclick central locking boot pop
Post by: weazgti on 24 February 2011, 09:26
Just wanted to know if it is possible to get the boot to pop off the fob. I know how to wire it to work off a button inside the car but i would really like it off the fob as well. I have looked into it and have tried a spare master solenoid on the spare wires but no joy. I could nt help but think that the boot pop would only work on later cars that allready had central locking and boot pop. On the spare wires i only seem to get 5v constant but nothing on the button.

no it'll work at all times, all the locking does is stop the button being able to push the boot lock pin up. since the popper is attached direct to the pin it makes no odds if boot button is locked or not
