Does this make sense? Lol you know how there's three holes on the scuttle panel for the windscreen wiper mounts, and obviously one isn't used and just has a blanking plug in? Well mine's rusted, and is letting water in through the windscreen seal. Anyway, was talking to the guy that does my bodywork, and he said it'll cost £75 to get it repaired, new bit welded in, or for an extra £5 he said he'd make it smooth, so there was no ridge , there was the two ridges for RHD wipers, and the third one would just...not be there. Has anyone had this done, or got pics of it having been done?

I have no rust on mine but tihnking the same idea i tihnk it would look more OEM+ and is a good idea as you then solve one more rust prone area as water will just run off ??

yes can be done as its only there if uz have a left hooker! good idea if its rusted over!

I know the reason for it being there, and I know that I won't need it..I jus wanna see how it looks.
