Title: code 00778 steering angle sensor

right just a quick question, this fault would it bring up my esp light, as I know I ve had the steering wheel off which has upset the steer wheel sensor (forgot to tape up), but now I have the esp light on, just wondering if they linked, cheers guys. got to get someone to set up my sensor now as only got a cheap ebay lead and it doesnt unlock all the bits.

Yes they are linked, as long as the sensor isn't broken take the wheel off with the wheels straight ahead and then make sure the angle sensor is centred then fit the wheel again
