Title: MK2 VDO Clock Bulbs?

As above.....where can I get new ones from.....I bought ten off ebay and they aren't the right ones. They look like the right ones as do most of them,but they don't have the connector bit facing the right way when you twist them into the holes. Any ideas or suggestions anyone?
Its the 3 main bulbs that are in the black holders that I'm looking for.

do you have the old vdo bulb holders? the bulbs just pull out of them

no....Like a tw a t I threw them away and I knew when they left my hand that one day i would regret it. I've done worse. Any suggestions then buddy?

I have got a bag full of them. I found some old renault 5 clocks in the shed and they must have 30 odd bulbs and holders. Jus compared em to the vw ones and they r exactly the same, both with 's' printed on the holder. Either pm me and ill send u a few for the postage or look in a scrappy for any mk2 golf/similar or even r5!

hang on, are you talking about dash clocks or the little vdo gauge?

if its for vdo gauges the bulbs you require are called 'T5 wedge' bulbs... and if you take a look on ebay you can get LED versions in blue, red, green, purple etc etc....
