Hi everyone,

could someone please tell me if/where the Diagnostics Link fuse so my code reader can scan, there is no power the thingy mibob where you plug it in. :cry:

by the way, turned key round in the ignition to just before start and started it and still no joy...?

these golfs are barking mad :laugh:

which code reader are you using? do you have an aftermarket stereo fitted?

yeah i do have a after market stereo fitted, and some times it says failure on the display..?

any ideas.

what year is your car, If your using an OBD2 protocol scanner then its only capable with 2001 + years, however it does work on some 200 cars Dependant on model type.

Its a 99t reg 1.8t, am not sure it was at my local garage he tried 2 scanners and both no joy,

Puzzling.. :undecided:.
