i noticed yesterday that every time i leave the car overnight i have to reset the clock, has it got an internal battery or is there something playing up
thanks mart

No internal battery so faulty dials or you have a current drain
-
or dead battery
-
Does the clock change when you try starting the car? Does it reset itself? If so, charge the battery and try again.
-
If there is enough juice to start the car it cant be battery! Well I am assuming you start and drive it everyday!
Sounds like a dodgy earth to me.
-
second that Len. Mine does this too...
-
not always len. aour sh!troen ax always had a dodgy clock but it always started. then eventually we put a new battery on it and hey presto, 1x fixed clock
-
I agree Rubjonny,
My battery had enough power to start the car but reset the clocks! VW specialist sorted this straight away with a new battery adn never done it since!
-
the battery seems ok,i do use the car every day and it starts first go,but il stick a new battery on and see
cheers guys

is it possible to get a trickle charger on it or something overnight? if it doesnt reset on the charger then that suggest volt drain or battery probs
