No internal battery so faulty dials or you have a current drain

Does the clock change when you try starting the car? Does it reset itself? If so, charge the battery and try again.

If there is enough juice to start the car it cant be battery! Well I am assuming you start and drive it everyday!
Sounds like a dodgy earth to me.

I agree Rubjonny,
My battery had enough power to start the car but reset the clocks! VW specialist sorted this straight away with a new battery adn never done it since!

is it possible to get a trickle charger on it or something overnight? if it doesnt reset on the charger then that suggest volt drain or battery probs
