Title: RNS 510 and Bluetooth
Post by: quinnii on 22 February 2011, 16:42
Im having problems with good old VCDS again!  :undecided:

Iv installed both the latest VW bluetooth kit and the RNS 510 and went through all the coding required on VCDS.

It even gets to the point where you click "Do It!" and it says coding accepted but as soon as i come out of VCDS and see if anythings changed on the car... nothing!

Im at a loss!

Am i missing something?

Yer iv tried resetting it. The phone menu isnt showing up in the MFD so theres a problem somewhere! This is a complete retrofit as in i didnt have a bluetooth module at all before installing this one.

I was trying to activate the telephone-77 and nav through the CAN bus long coding. For some reason i coudnt do this so i had to activate them through the CAN installation list which is another option in that menu.

Hope that makes sense
