can any one tell me how to remove the airbag please (i dont want it going off on me lol) i have a momo to go on cheers
-
Disconnect the battery and go and have a coffee or tea, best to leave it for 20mins.
Feel behind the steering wheel and you will see 2 holes undo the bolts and then it lifts off.
Unplug and then place outside the car face down.
22mm nut is you then need to undo to remove the steering wheel.

nice one i'll be doing it tomorrow when my boss arrives just don't want a explosion in my face lol

You will be fine if you disconnect the battery and leave for at least 20mins.
Also be carefull unplugging it

even with no power it is still explosive (although you have disconnected the trigger by disconnecting the battery.... still be-careful as a face of airbag really shi7s you up!!)

Just keep your head out of the way when you disconnect it.

Fair one! A friend of mine smashed his car a few years back, and the force of the airbag pushed his lips back behind his teeth. Claret everywhere!

Somewhere that is not too damp and make sure nothing can fall on it or knock it.
