Title: Hi peeps

Hi Peeps  :smiley:

I am a newbie, I currently own a mk6 escort GTI which i am going to scrap as the dreaded rust has got into it and in its place i am looking at getting a Golf  :grin:

I will need as much help as possible as to what to look out for and what would be the best golf gti mk4 to go for? as its a big change from a ford lol

1.8T = 150 BHP

2.0 = 115 BHP

Yes that is the Anni, do not buy the 2.0, welcome to the forum.

and the later MK4s. All 180s came with the 6speed box.

Took me a few weeks to find a suitable one, there are a lot out there so be picky
