I think my head might have gone
but how would i no if it has??
And if its not that what else could it be as i can see no leaks??
And how much would it cost to get a new head put in the car ??

Fill the car with water/coolant.
Place newspaper under the car to cover the engine bay.
Run the engine until up to temperature and the thermostat opens.
Hold it at med revs and look for water leaks on the new paper.
Jiggle the coolant hoses where they join the engine for leaks in cracks/creases in the rubber.
Listen for hisses.
I had a "mystery" leak last month. As you say, no obvious fault. Done the above, turned out to be a fine split in the pipe that goes from the block to the matrix pressure valve. Only found it by jiggling the hoses. Obviously not visable on a cold engine, as the leak would only appear once the pipe split expanded once hot.

ah thanks i will go look now

Getting it pressure tested would be a good idea too. Help rule out whether it is the head or not. Does the car overheat?
-
nope it don’t over heat and i think i found the problem there was a fat split in one of the pipes so think that was it is. i will find out later i gess

good old perished rubber hoses, had the same problem with mine on 2 of the pipes, easy fix though! :afro:
