Title: Forget the meerkats - ask this forum!
Post by: branchespark on 20 February 2011, 09:28
OK, the meerkats know quite a lot, but I am not sure they can answer me this question:

"Which insurer is the best for a MK6 GTI / GTD that has been Revo'd?"

I'm considering having my GTD fiddled with and want to know how much it's going to hurt from insurers. Of course, I'm doing it for the better economy, so surely I'd be a safer driver?

Admiral seems to get posted alot with cars that have been remaped.

Worth trying some of the ones listed in the insurance section too.

I went for Admiral as they are mod friendly and a good price, they were also one of the few that would accept my company car no claims as proof of no claims discount.
