Can I change an electric window to manual I have all the stuff just wondering how to do it?? Thanks

I believe you will need to change the regulator but can be done.

Yes, I am 99% it is different to the electric version.

Just one question.....why would you want to as electric window regulators are cheap enough to buy and easy to change. Surely the manual mechanism will last just as long as the electric version.

I got all manual windows and I have bought a door that's electric and wanna change it back :)

Good answer Buddy  :laugh:  I would have thought the mechanism is easy to swap over and the doorcard is mega easy.

piece of piss mate     door card off     wind window half way down you will see 2 x10mm bolts on clamps just below the glass slacken them   then 3x10mm bolts  to take the mech out

Done it but slight colour difference but better than a dent!! How much do the electric mechs sell for??
