i've got a set of mk3 40mm lowering springs given to me by a friend for my mk4,obviously they don't fit,they are used but in good nick so if anyone can make use of them and can collect from sheffield area tommorow they can have them :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Excellent work mate, just saw your post in the mk4 section. Id like to take them but havent even got enough money for the petrol to get there. :grin: Im sure someone will snap them up though.

Loughborough is very close to me mate but I have only just fitted new suspension on the mk3 so I would only have them as a spare set. Cheers for the offer anyway, we need more people like you on here :grin:

Just for info, what spec / engine are they for, diesel and VR is different to the rest.

Are they? I'm assuming due to weight? Good thing when I changed the suspension on my tdi I put VR6 shocks and springs on!

Yep Vr and Diesel is heavier duty front springs due to engine weight.
