This is going to sound ridiculous but can some one point in the direction of where the obd2 port for vag com is? Its not jumping out at me an I don't want to start ripping trim off for no reason!

Same as the MK5 I think - up above the pedals on the right handside

Correct. I was going to insert a picture but I can't find the add picture button from computer.

Purple in colour you can miss it if you kneel from outside and stick your head in the footwell.
