Title: Identifying gearbox code?? cda, dpa etc 16v abf

hi all,

how can i identify what code my gearbox is? i know i need an 02a but there seem to be variations!!

is it down to age?

TDI, 16v and VR6 had 02A, 8v and lesser models had 020.

cool, i know mines an 02A but i wanted to know about the CDA/DPA codes as im not sure what mine is or how to find out

16v is DPA I think...SEAT Ibiza Cupra Sport 16v used the same basic 'box, but with a cable clutch, code CDA.
Both the same inside.
