i brought some shocks and springs a little while ago that only cost about £140 the car has about a 40mm drop! looks good but the ride is complete sh!te! its like your driving over cobble stones most of the time, thought the beef was rear beam bushes and after changing them its a little better..so thinking about some coilovers, whats worth buying and sort of keeping a smooth ride,or shocks and springs anything good out there? shocks&springs or coilovers? when you adjust coilovers do you need the tracking reset every time you adjust height..

You gets what you pay for. Cheap is exactly that! £150 for suspension won't give you the ride you want. For coils i'd say £300 min upwards. AP, wietec are good, FK are very expensive for the quality you get KW are expensive but top quality.
Good quality shock/spring is a good comprimise but you can't go very low with them. Always go for a matched set.

Yes really speaking you should, a good quality susp. kit is still a better choice.

Both track and camber are affected, so will need checking each time.

I have weitecs on both my cars. But you are looking at £450 for these. AP's are slightly cheaper but have good feedback.
