Post by: walchy01 on 15 February 2011, 19:47
Evening all

My head lining is shot, how much would you pay for a 2nd hand one???

Is 45 quid a bit steep???

Depends really, I paid £50 for mine and the bloke helped fit it too.
I'd say anywhere between £30 and £50 is reasonable, unless you find a goldmine of a breakersand can get one cheaper

Quite an easy fit with two pairs of hands I'm told? :undecided:

Pretty much agree with this - £30 is cheap (I was lucky!) and £60 is expensive, which leaves £45 quite average!

You can do it yourself, but you'll appreciate the extra pair of hands when it comes to moving the new one in the car.

Yeah, I wouldn't have had a clue how to do it if the breaker didn't help me out, plus I would have struggled bringing the whole thing back in the golf myself if it wasn't fitted (without breaking it!)

I better drop the back seats in the X5 before collecting from Dinnington then
Will drag a mate in for an extra pair of hands, thanks for that
