Title: Applying Polish
Post by: Jimmymature on 15 February 2011, 17:29
Hi guys, what's the best way to apply Auto Glym Super Resin Polish?

I have either:

Megs Microfiber Applicator Pads or
Megs soft foam applicator pads

Advice would be appreciated.

I personally use a damp megs foam pad, whether it's the best way to do it i've no idea but works ok for me.

I use a damp MF applicator pad, works very well when really working the polish.

What's the reason behind using a damp mega foam pad? And how damp is damp?

Cheers,

Jim

Initially it was recommended on here to me, the reason being it gives a bit more even coverage as well as the polish not being quite as dusty when you buff it off, seems to do the trick plus you don't have to use as much cos it goes further! When i say damp i just have a little tub with water in, drop the pad in and squeeze it a couple of time so it's ringing wet and then squeeze it out, not wet "DAMP"

When using my Dodo Juice wax should I also dampen the Megs sponge to apply it also?

Cheers,

I do mate but i use the dodo juice finger mitt foam applicators instead, only because i find it easier to get the wax out the pot!
