'Ow Do peeps,

Sorry for not saying hello and posting my woes straight onto the Garage section.

I've had a red MK2 16v for 5 years and have had a lot of joy from it.  Only until last year when my bottom end went blahurgh. However, since then I've had a 2L 16v Piper Cam Vernier pulley put in from a Corrado. It goes some to! well more than me last one.

Always had a soft spot for Golfs, me cousin had red MK2 8v bored out to 2L with a massive Kent cam and twin carbs. That shifted.

Anyway, nice to be onboard.

Hey!!

i'm a nebie too, i also own an 16 valver! love it too..

does the 2L 16v engine make that much differnce without the mods??? i know they have 150bhp and i guess they are torque-ier!
