Hey guys,
Can someone with ETKA check to see how many MFD displays the MK6 Golf has,
The MK5 had midline and highline, but the ones on the Mk6 Golf look the same size.
I think in a few weeks I'll be attempting (with the help of Doc if he doesn't mind) to install the MFSW, other then the steering wheel, new control unit and possibly new airbag wiring (if someone can tell me otherwise) that hopefully should be all I need plus a quick play with VCDS :)
Would be a great help if someone can help me out, and if they have prices too! :D

There are 3 main types, 960, 970 and 980 then up to 5 variants within these for models or fuel versions.

Sounds like fun

Steve or Doc, I don't suppose the MFD can be replaced on it's own without the whole clocks being changed?
I don't even have the midline one and want to activate the auto door locks :(
Doc, looks like I may aswell get a hotel near yours so we can get all the VAGCOM done :)

I wouldn't say its as easy just to swap the MFD to midline or highline, VW don't do things by simple means.
I've just had a look if the MFD is a seperate part and its not listed only the complete gauge console of which there are 7 listed for the diesel the GTD is 5K6 920 970 EX - £298.42.

Yeah, I thought that too :( Just not diesel clocks on ebay at all, although I'm sure I read somewhere, that someone had to petrol clocks working on his MK5?
