Title: new windscreen mk4

as title says i have to have a new windscreen fitted on monday :sad: can some one please tell me if they put the rear view mirror back on or do i have to go to vw to buy a new mount to stick the mirror back on to the screen?

Thy should refit it  :smiley: whenever I have had a screen done they have.

Less than an hour normally.  Mine was done in around 30-35 minutes.  You then got to leave the car for approx 2-3 hours before driving to allow the screen to bond properly; well that's what I was told to do  :smiley:

all done now. took the fitter just 30mins and he told me not to drive it for over an hour. the screen they have fitted has a tint at the top which mine did not have to start with but it does look a lot better. and only £70.
