JV, he gives them away.?
I think ?14 is about right. I don't know this personally but I've heard that they can cause dints in the bonnet.?I could be wrong but maybe someone else could confirm or deny. :undecided:

They seem to be a fair price to me.
I was thinking of fitting some myself but I'm also worried about the stories of them distorting the bonnet around the rear hinge area. The mk1/2 bonnet isn't designed for the weight of the bonnet to be supported so close to the hinges so I suppose it's quite feasible that it could end up damaged.
I'm gonna look closely at a few motors fitted with them at this years shows before I risk fitting any.

well my bonnet seems to be ok and i've fitted them

I've got them on my cab, and they are fine. They havent done any damage and have been on there for about 9 years now.
You can pick them up at shows, for around ?15-20. I think 25+P&P is a bit much.
-
mine have been on for about 3 years now and no distortion to the bonnet. mine were about ?20 i think.

These cause the back of the bonnet to lift up and messes the alignment up. I drilled new holes into my brackets and bolted the struts on rather than taking the bonnet bolt out.
