This is a query on behalf of my sister as i own a nk4
She recently had the cambelt, tensioner and water pump changed on her mk5 GT Tdi, before this the car started fine with no problems, now it seems to struggle to start. She has taken it back to the garage and they recon its the cam position sensor that is faulty. Is there a chance this could have been damaged when changing the cambelt?
The car is struggling to start, trying to cut out until engine is warm and there's a slight loss of power
Cheers for the help in advance

Can no one help with this? Would have though one of you mk5 boys would be able to tell me if the cam position sensor is near/around the area where the cambelt is?
