Title: broken flying saucer
Post by: tsr_adi on 12 February 2011, 10:12
The flying saucer has broken away from the rocker cover, anyone know how I can make it stay in position temporarily till I can fix it properly? Its spitting oil vapour straight out of the rocker cover at the mo and I think its overfuelling becauseof this  :undecided:

Its the small rubber tube that goes from the bottom of it to the rocker cover, and it has a groove in it so it sits in the rocker cover, but it has broken from the groove downwards, so it won't stay there. I will replace it but I need to use the car in the meantime

Already sorted it, found some thick coolant hose that fits on the flying saucer end perfect and with some persuasion it fits tightly in the hole on the rocker cover. Problem solved!
