I have seen a few people who are talking about getting different injectors installed. Was just wondering what difference it would make, and which ones I should be looking at if I wanted to.
Also, does anyone know of a good injector cleaning place round North Devon? Or a mail in service. Want to start cleaning up this engine a bit, and see if I can catch any of the lost horses :)

Little or no point unless you have done major mods.

seems to be all web-based. Planning to get mine cleaned and tested this year - http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/ (http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/)

Blimey £70 to clean 4 injectors, excluding postage!

what else would you do? They must be at least £70 each to buy new, and scrappie will be in the same condition, etc. Didn't think it was unreasonable personally. Suspect one or more of mine is acting up a bit.

Nothing else to do, just £70 for about 2 hours worth of work in total is quite expensive I think. I guess it's roughly what everyone charges for injector cleaning.

true, but also we don't have the gear to do this at home. Appologies if previous post came across as blunt/rude - not mean't to be!

You could also try your local Bosch agent.
