Title: Fluctuating idle speed

Can you help?  The idle on my my Mark v GTI DSG keeps going up to about 1300 then down to 800... Could this be a PCV issue? All help appreciated.

Sounds like it could be either that or one of the coilpacks. :smiley:

Just a thought.

Make sure that you have no inlet manifold  leaks, eg Air filter box, pipe work etc.

Also check Air Filter is seated correctly & Clean.

Could be a failing PVC, as it is a weak spot, and will cause erratic idle if faulty.
