Title: mk2 idoling at 3000rpm, mk2 mechanic needed asap in west yorkshire

hi all, i need assistance, this is my first mk2 and its not going well, my mk2 wont idol properly, when cold its not ranging at all, and when its warn its idoling at 3000+rpm
