Hi all, going to spend the weekend cleaning the car (Reflex Silver GTI). I have bought some stuff from local shops and some bits from Waxamomo. I plan to use the following in the order as they appear:
1. Jet wash
2. Megs Gold Class shampoo
3. Dodo clay with Dodo Born Slippy.
4. Auto Glym Super Resin Polish
5. Dodo Wax Light Fantastic
The Auto Glym is the only thing that's not new so not sure if I should get anything elase instead. Please advise if you think i'm missing a step. I'm not looking for views on my product selection i'm more looking for comments if you think I could have issues....
Thanks in advance guys,
Jim

Thanks for the advice gents.
Is the SRP mild? The paint is in good condition and doesn't need an abrasive polish.
Thanks,
Jim

SRP doesn't have any cut at all, it just fills and hides the swirl marks. If the paint is on good condition, then SRP will be perfect.

Thanks mate, is it worth using SRP if the paint is in good condition. I'll be quite happy sitting on my @ss watching TV if I dont need to polish
Cheers,

I'd say so yes, it will certainly add a little bit to the finish, it will also give a nice base for the wax.

Thanks Waxamomo, once again for the advice and great service. One last question, how many coats will the dodo wax do on my car?
Cheers,
Jim

It was a full size jar you got wasn't it? If so you should get probably 40 coats/layers out of it.

Even if it's a panel pot you should get at least 6-8 coats, i have which is amazing really!

Thanks again.
