Alright lads,

I'm dropping my 1.8t engine in a mk2 :-)

So just a quick one anyone have any idea of 0-60 times top speeds??

fast if you put the power down.. good luck with conversion it looks quite difficult for me lol

Probs around 6 secs as it may struggle a bit in 1st and 2nd... mine's pretty good off the line but was running lean and only about 140bhp lol, put an lsd on it and it would fly

AHh nice one. I just want a good looking mk2 as a daily drive then a nasty track day mk2 on the weekend :-)

Will all be down to what box, diff and tyres you're using. Spending money in these departments would be a good move if it's acceleration you are after.

slippy diff and sticky tyers and it'll be quick.    open diff and ditchfinders it'll be all smoke and no poke

you can i believe but it is a bit of messing.. will have to change to 5stud hubs etc.. and will need to go hydraulic clutch
