Title: its been a busy morning

hey guys,
so i have finally got round to fitting a few bits to the car(taking time out from black ops :grin:)
right 1st thing was smoothing the air box etc and refitting it to the car,
not the prettiest of workman ship but no one is gonna see it

next thing was to fit the mk5 aero and stubby areial

and last thing was fitting the anni valance,after some large amounts of swearing cutting my knuckes 10 fags and 3 cups of tea she is on....

i have a r32 rep spoiler to go on but needs painting etc

looking good, although ive got a question, ive seen it mentioned on here a few times now, whats the benefits of smoothening out the airbox, and whats best way to do it?

not sure of benifits as i run induction but you dremal the bits inside for a better airflow

its supposed to smooth out the airflow when the air enters the box,

i may have found someone with good prices for spraypainting to mate almost mates rates
but waiting to here back from one of the missus friends who is have his fairings painted for his r6.
seeing all these posts of rr days pre dets and good amounts of horsy power make me want a 1.8t  :smiley:

Interesting. Would like to know if you find a decent cheap sprayer. Got a few bits need doing   :grin:

Looks awesome mate glad you received splitter ok and fitted it looks the nuts shame i didnt get time to fit to my mk4 !! uber jealous now !!  :grin: :grin:
