did it go up by £130 or it is £130.00.... i got a quote and it was £450.00 with admiral and i'm 35 with my missus on the policy aswell. didnt think that was too bad fully comp althouhg i will try on go compare etc to get it down a tad.
-
Admiral seem to be the best on price in my experience, have been with them two years now around the £450.00 mark fully comp for me and the mrs. 30yrs old full NCB. I shop around every year but unfortunately insurance is one of those things that will continue to rise gradually.

If your car is standard, try getting a quote from Swiftcover online.
If it is modified try Chris Knott, Adrian Flux or Greenlight.
-
I'm with Swiftcover, was cheapest by miles.
This said i just last week got a quote from Greenlight and it was only £5 more. Got the quote as swiftcover don't cover modded cars and i'm looking at playing about shortly :p
-
cheers everyone will call swift cover in the mornins ,,,called admiral and it was 276 pound more ,unbelivable what is this world comin to
-
i would just be careful with Swiftcover, i was with them on my mk5 gti im 23 with 6 years ncb and 0 points, i got 3 points on my license for an sp30 and declared it to the insurer soon as i got them and they told me they could no longer insure me! so i had to look elsewhere! got treated like a criminal and point blank refused to cover me.
-
Im with Bell. Greenlight where also very good.
-
Marks and Spencer, plus they cover mods as well ie remaps - winner really!! 500quid FC inc prot NCD
-
Oh yeah and that was with a revo remap declared as well cheers
-
I'm with Adrian Flux, £510 a year, 28, 7 years NCB wife on the insurance, car modded to hell, £250 excess, though not got covered NCB. Car parked on the drive. Quite good price I think.
-
540 for a bluefined gti and the wifes Yeti with Admiral multicar. pretty damn good I thought but then we are both the wrong side of 35 with full ncb. saying that that's fully protected ncb, extra personal injury cover and parked on the road. called up and drove the price down from 580 just by asking nicely! just got to find the cash now for the service, mot and road tax!
