Title: Will this distributor fit on my GTI?

Hi, I need a second hand distributor for a MK2 Golf GTI 8v (1986). Does anyone know if this scirocco one will fit? Or where I can get a cheap used one?

yes :)

edit: only potential issue is the hall sender plug on the side. yours might be a different shape, if you can see if the seller has the plug off the car and can include it? does look like the later style connector so you'll probably be ok though
