Well just been to shop and car was running sweet. Got bk in car and was just driving normal and thourt I would give it a blast nothing there at all. Boost gauge going from -20 and then sticking at 0. Can't here the turbo when I rev . Or Here the whoosh off the carbonio. No chatter off wastegate either. Only two fault codes there is are 17963 charge pressure maximum limit exceeded ( intermittent ) and a lambda fault. Had them to before and car was ok. No blue smoke or nothing. Any ideas guys?

Could be the actuator jammed open? When my new one was put on slightly wrong i had the same thing......
-
Hmm is it doing any damage whilst stuck open if it is?
-
Only to ya wallet! Lol. Nah its just like the ultimate boost leak. I wouldnt wanba leave it for linger than necessary though. May not be that. Could also be an intercooler hose off or something similar
-
Hmm Yeh . Leave it where it is till Sunday then lol then get a look. And more possible causes
-
you've hit overboost at some point too
-
Yep think n75 could do with changing still on original
-
take it off and do the suck test lol
-
Lol suck test?
-
sory about this but one of the pipes on my n75 valve is missing and it wont boost properly i think its over boosting , would that be the cause ?
-
yes it will try to overboost without that pipe
Jonny - suck each pipe, one of them should be near on impossible to suck through
-
Ah ok wes will have a go on Sunday thanks fingers crossed its just a hose came off
-
Well had time to look at the car today . Was all geared up to start rolling about in the rain. Thourt I will just check the acuatator. As soon as o touched it ping strait back to its home position. So quick squirt of wd. And be on phone to nick Monday to get booked in for forge acuatator lol. So sort of good news lol
-
Nice one, saved gettin all soggy on a sunday! Forge actuators are noticeably different if your old one has been getting gradually worse over time!
-
yup that'll do it mate. Overboost is probably it being stuck shut, then lack of boost it being stuck open.
-
Ah cheers wes so n75 could be ok then /
