hi guys, i have a rattle which is the inlet mani heatsheild... are there any guides?
thx

There is no heatshield over the INLET manifold!
On a 16v there is a plastic cover where the HT leads sit in.
There is however a large cast aluminium heatshield over the EXHAUST manifold which indeed is prone to breaking and rattling.

yeah i meant exhaust LOL

Very common. This fixed mine, and kept it shut for a year until engine came out

2 large jubilee clips joined together, then tightened over the manifold

while were on manifolds, which bit is prone to cracking casusing a slight blow?

The upper manifold

Nah that's not the one!
Its a big cast ally box with fins. Will have to take some pics when I can as I have 2 broken ones!
