Started getting a really bad leak in the passenger footwell lately, after any kind of rain. Got a little leak last year when it was heavy rain and the car was sat but it just made the carpet a bit damp. But now in heavy ran there is a big puddle in the passengers footwell its like a swimming pool
But I cant work out where its coming from at all...... Because its just the half at the seat that gets wet! There is not wet-ness or damp at the firewall side of the footwell or in the rear or the drivers side at all. And had a look at the pollen filter etc and it looks all fine and there it no holes in the door seal that i could see either :undecided: But when I was driving today am sure I seen a drop come from the top of the passengers door but it could have just been a drip down the outside off the window
So do I just need a new door seal or does anyone have any ideas at all ?
And its a 3 door if that makes any difference
Cheers

Have you got a sunroof? There are some "nipples" half way up the door frames as you open the door which clog up with sh!t and can cause issues, you have to squeeze them  and the gunk should come out then they can drain properly :)

i cut the end of the nipples in door let water through better, also check the pipes of the sunroof drains havent come off

Pollen filter, do a search.

Read his first post. He said he's checked the pollen filter.
I agree with above, proberbly sun roof
If not (providing its cheep, don't know how much it costs to do...) ide get the door seals changed see if it makes a difference.

Cheers guys I'll just the nipple thing a try
My car is a non sunroof to so wont be anything to do with that
If the nipple thing doesn't work I'll just need to sit in the car for a bit the next time if raining heavy and see if I can see where the water is coming in

Go down the local jet wash with a buddy and sit in the car while they blast the heck out of it, or try the same at home with a bucket of water down around the window seals and scuttle panel etc.
In that location I think the sensible money's on a leak around the pollen filter....
No sunroof, no nipples.
The seal at the bottom of the door can leak too.
Both covered in this great link I bookmarked:
