seems the car has picked up yet a new problem, it wont seem to rev over 4k, its splutters like a car does when it redlines (or goes past rev peak!)
could it have something to do with the exhaust? i recently had a new one without a cat or middle box (not what i had in mind i add)
or could it be the fuel relay, which i have just bought today from gsf for £45
thanks

Any fault codes?

Could be your maf or lambda probe struggling with the new exhaust?
-
thats normal for a diesel

hmm, its petrol! lol
i know the lambda sensor is before the cat, or where the cat was, although i had this removed on its own ages ago and its been fine, not fault codes have come up, although the abs lights has come up on the dash and i dont know why :undecided:
to add, its idleing at 1100k
thanks

right, thought id post in this thread instead of making a new one, just been to a mates to fit the fuel relay, seems this isnt the problem, we plugged in the diagnostics and it wouldnt even read, kept coming up with error, so it must be the ecu again??
the abs light is on, its idling at 1100, wont go over 4k, the relay is constantly clicking, when the ignition is on, but not engine, the rev counter goes up and down
does anyone know if its going to be the ecu, and if so, how much for a new one and where from?
thanks
