just a quick one gents, which version of vag tacho should I buy to do MTE etc?

I have seen;

2.2
2.5
3.01

also, where do I get the hex editor programme from?

just going to buy off the bay.

Doesn't matter. I have 2.2 I think. You need xv132. But be careful, you could f*ck the clicks up by doing it wrong.

I have wasted my money, when I tried to connect the cluster it read back RB8, it will not let me connect to it, access denied!

What "should" I have bought?
