hi all im building a mk1 20v and was going to put engine and gearbox in last week but got a problem im using a 02a gearbox with cable clutch kit fitted . now the problem i got is there is a pin and lock washer i dont know where it goes hope somebody can help

ok it looks like the pin goes into gearbox way dont know what it lock washers for as it fits gearbox spindle but dont lock lol

yes the pin pushes against the thrust bearing holder, and no idea never seen a clip like that , i dont trhink its anythink to do with the clutch operation

looking at that dirgram im missing 2 washers and something eles if only i new what car that digram showing

might have to put in o2o box for now as that pin is doingmy head in how much for cable m8

noo the cable clutch conversion bit , the bit you have but complete with everythink already together brand new from vw

well its complete with it all together how you buy it from the dealers , so you should be able to bolt it straight on and all you need then is a cable and a bracket to hold the cable
