Title: 2.0l 8v Mk2 Golf power?
Post by: rossbarry1 on 31 January 2011, 13:36
I am Currently running a 2E block with a stage 3 ported polished PB head. Just bought a 4-2-1 manifold and looking to get a supersprint exhaust system and a shrick 288 fast road camshaft. What sort of power will i be looking at with these mods?

Thanks guys

depends what your stage 3 head flows like, and how good your fueling is and whats delivering it.

130 - 170 bhp both extreemes are very possible  but likely be 150 ish.

the 288 cam is probaly a bit hot for a std bottom end,  and possobly to hot for the cyl head as well
