Post by: Big Tone on 29 January 2011, 08:25
As above, looking for a reliable piece of kit, going to practice on an old panel to get my technique.
Looking for a kit and any essentials.

The new Deltalyo Power Plus would be my choice, it is a new powerful DA with a few other nice extra's......less vibration, longer power cable etc etc.

As for polish and pads, give me a budget to work too and i'll try and sort you a nice kit out

What would I get if I said 200

That would be more than enough, lets have a look.....

Deltalyo DA - £119.95
Meguiar's No. 80 - £12.95
Meguiar's No. 84 - £13.95
Meguiar's Finishing 7" Pad - £11.95
Meguiar's Polishing 7" Pad - £11.95
Dodo Juice Small Backing Plate - £9.95
Sonus SFX 2 & 3 4" Pads - £9.90

That would be a great starter kit that gives you a great machine with both big and small pads. The DA comes complete with a 5' and 6" backing plate which saves you a bit of money. We have got the sale on until midnight tomorrow which would give you 10% off the prices above, plus you would still earn another 5% in reward points to use towards your next order

I haven't added any compounding pads in, you may want to if you have any specific scratches you want to have a go at.

Let me know what you think,

Chris

SRP, No.80 and No.84 are all polishes.

Just need applicators and a few microfibres and that should be you
