Title: 1st mk2 paint advice

Yesterday I bought my 1988 White 3 door 8 valve gti, it's my first mk2, she has had one owner from new so I thought this was a good project, the sills are looking dopey insideand out but it's only surface what paint do I need for this??? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

If it is only the sills, you could get away with smoothrite or do them black with a waxoil type smooth (ish) underseal.
