Title: Dipping passenger wing mirror when in reverse gear

Hi all. Sorry for asking such a dumb question, but I have tried to follow the handbook guide on how to setup the mirror setting for when in reverse (and enabled it on the MFD), but it just isn't working.

Any suggestions?

Put the mirror dial to the L position.
Put the car in reverse with ignition on.
Adjust it till you get it where you want (normally aimed down at the kerb)
Put the car out of reverse and it should go back to its normal position.
Then every time you have the dial in the L position and select reverse it should go to the position you set it to.
