For those interested and that have an RNS510 installed, the upcoming version of the firmware has some interesting features.
Here are some quick pics. I have reverted back from this beta, as the POIs don't work properly.

Extras on Map (new) - you can go to POI selection here and not just in setup

Sadly the POIs don't work properly on the new firmware (nothing to do with POInspect0r), so my shiny new speed camera icons don't work!

I don't know when it will be available. I tracked it down on the web and gave it a whirl.
I imagine that May delivery cars will come with the new software and maps?

any clues what to search for??
my poi's all seem to have gone missing

My cars in for a service on Friday, so I'm getting them to update the firmware on the RNS510 to the lasted version possible for the unit. VW are charging me £20 for this. Hopefully then my v7 maps will work with the full postcode facility.
I'll let you know how I get on.... VW are bound to brick-up the unit or something stupid.

i just downloaded "RNS 510 EAST v7.0" can anyone confirm if this is the correct one?? :undecided:

You need WEST for Western Europe. Assume you need maps for Leeds?!
There is a version 7.1 floating about (has the code 7833), but I am a bit skeptical if this is actually new or not.
